McLaren 750s Carbon Fiber Fender Vent Replacement
The front fender vents on the McLaren 750S aren't decoration. They're the exit path for high-pressure air trapped inside the front wheel arches — air that would otherwise generate lift and disrupt flow down the flanks of the car toward the rear intakes. Getting that panel right matters functionally, and it sits in one of the most looked-at places on the car.
This replacement pair is molded in genuine prepreg carbon fiber and finished to a standard that stands up to inspection from arm's length. It's a true one-for-one swap for the factory painted composite vent, using the same mounting geometry, the same fastener locations, and the same louver spacing — so airflow behavior through the arch is unchanged from stock. You get the weight reduction and the exposed weave, without introducing a fitment or aerodynamic compromise.
Whether you're replacing a panel damaged by stone chips and track debris, restoring a car after a fender repair, or converting a painted car to a full exposed-carbon exterior package, this is a permanent, OEM-quality solution.
Key Features
Autoclave-cured prepreg construction Layed up by hand from aerospace-grade prepreg carbon and cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave. This produces a high fiber-to-resin ratio, near-zero voiding, and a panel that holds its shape over years of heat cycling — unlike wet-layup or vacuum-only parts that can print, ripple, or soften.
True dry carbon, not a carbon overlay The entire panel is carbon. This is not a carbon skin bonded over an existing plastic vent, and not a hydro-dipped or vinyl-wrapped imitation. Structural integrity comes from the laminate itself.
Genuine OEM fitment Digitally scanned from a factory 750S panel and validated on a physical car. Mounting tabs, clip locations, and the panel's relationship to the fender edge and door shut line are reproduced exactly. No trimming, no drilling, no heat-forming, no shimming.
Functional louver geometry preserved Louver count, pitch, angle, and open area match the factory part, so front-end lift, wheel arch pressure relief, and brake cooling flow behave exactly as McLaren engineered them. Cosmetic carbon parts that alter louver depth or blade angle can measurably change front axle behavior at speed — this one doesn't.
Weight reduction Meaningfully lighter than the OEM painted composite panel, with the saving taken from a high, forward, outboard position on the car — the least desirable place to carry mass. (Confirm exact per-panel and pair figures against your own scale data before publishing.)
UV-stable automotive clear coat Finished in a multi-stage, UV-inhibited clear that resists the yellowing and hazing that plague cheaper parts after a season of sun. Wet-sanded and polished to a deep, distortion-free gloss.
Track and road ready Resistant to engine bay and brake heat soak, road salt, fuel, and tire dressing overspray.
Finish Options
| Finish | Description |
|---|---|
| 2×2 Twill Gloss | The classic diagonal weave. Matches McLaren's factory MSO gloss carbon packages. |
| 2×2 Twill Satin | Same weave, low-sheen clear. Pairs well with satin or matte paint finishes. |
| Forged / Marbled Carbon | Chopped-tow composite with a random flowing pattern. Every panel is visually unique. |
| Gloss Twill, Paint-Ready | Primed for body color or a custom two-tone treatment. |
Weave alignment is matched panel-to-panel across the pair so the left and right sides read as a set on the car.

Installation
Installation is straightforward for an experienced technician and does not require fender removal or paint work. The factory panel is released from its retaining clips, the new panel is seated and secured using the supplied hardware, and panel gaps are checked against the fender edge.
Estimated shop time: 45–90 minutes for the pair.
We strongly recommend installation by a McLaren-authorized technician or an experienced exotic bodyshop. Improper clip removal is the single most common cause of damage to surrounding paintwork during this job. Damage caused by incorrect installation is not covered under warranty.

Regular Cleaning: Maintain carbon fiber parts by cleaning them regularly with a soft cloth and a mixture of mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaners that could harm the finish.
Use Microfiber Pads and Cloths: Opt for microfiber pads and cloths when cleaning or applying protective coatings to prevent surface scratches.
Protect from Sun and Chemicals: Limit exposure to direct sunlight and harsh chemicals, as they can damage carbon fiber. When possible, use protective covers or park your vehicle in shaded areas.
